Even though Emilio De Caro was the 2nd violinist in live performances, in most studio recordings from here up to 1928, Manlio Francia took that role.
This and "Pobre Margot" are the only recordings in which Luis Petrucelli played as 1st bandoneon.

The exact date of recording is not known but the recording was announced on Caras y Caretas on November 15, 1924, and that's the closest we get. But looking as Osvaldo Fresedo's discography there's a hint that this could have been recorded before October 1924.
